Happy Time | Bee Arty

Hi Guys

My share today is of a double layout that I created using the gorgeous TIME FLIES range designed by Michelle Grant.  It is such a wonderful range to work with and the colours in the kit magnificent.

Here are a couple of closeups of each individual page.

The one thing I really love about the new ranges from Bee Arty is that they have now created papers that can be used together to create double pages.  I
n this range they are called "Tick" and "Tock", how cool is that 😁

The coordinating mixed media that comes with the kits is the "Espresso" Mica Powder and "Peacock" Shimmer Dust. I used both of these on the pages and it just makes it all pop.

To add texture to the background I used both the "Tic Toc" metal die and the "Riveted" A4 stencil from the collection.  There are two stamps sets in the collection "Time Flies" which has the zipper bees that I stamped on the background and also "Metal Plates" which I also stamped on the background patterned papers. Wording used on the pages came from the "Curious" patterned paper and the cogs and hinges came from the "Collection" sheet from the paper collection pack.

Check out some closeups of my layout.

All products used were from the TIME FLIES collection.  Pop on over to check everything out.

As we are in the lead up to Christmas this week, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of Bee Arty's crafting family a wonderful Christmas and safe start to 2021.
Let's all hope 2021 is a ripper of a year.

Take care everyone..... until next time....

"Happiness" for Bee Arty

 Welcome Back Everyone

For my share today I thought I would share with you another layout that I completed using products from BEE ARTY including Fearless Brave and Free, Three Six Five and Arty Farty collections along with Artist Inks, Shimmer sprays, Shimmer Dusts and Embossing Powders.

For my page I used the MUSE patterned paper from the Arty Farty collection designed by the super talented Michelle Grant. Using the Arches A5 stencil and some matching distress inks I applied colour through the stencil to the patterned paper.  I added some 'splats' to the page using a blue shimmer spray. From one of the collection I used a white Hexagon die cut and after making a mix of Duke Shimmer Dust and water, coloured the white die cut.

I created a colourful piece of smooth white cardstock using Artist Inks in Lime, Marine, Mermaid and Calypso.

I then used this piece of cardstock and die cut the FRAME metal die from the Fearless Brave and Free collection and also the  GEO DIRECTION metal die from the Three Six Five collection designed by the amazing Tania Froud.

The GEO DIRECTION die cut was cut in half and applied to the back of the mounted photo, as was the hexagon die cut that was coloured earlier.  The FRAME die cut was glued on top of the photo.

Wording on the page came from the FREE word sheet from the Fearless Brave and Free range designed by mega designer Fiona Paltridge.

I heat embossed the happiness chipboard word with Apple of My Eye Embossing Powder.

Before layering all the pieces down I grabbed some washie tape in matching colours and designs and applied where the photo was being applied.

To finish the page I used a Charms Creation tab, yellow twine and different enamel dots, arrows and triangles.

Thanks for stopping by.

I hope you find some crafting time to create your next memory.

Take care
Anita

"Heartfelt" for Colour Blast by Bee Arty

 Hi Everyone

Wow!! I can't believe it is nearly December. 2020 has been such a weird year and challenging year for all of us in one way or another, some of us more than others.

A large part of my immediate family were in Melbourne's lockdown and where their new normal is coming in to affect I love seeing the experiences they are all having to bring some normality back to their family.

For today's share I chose to use some photos of my gorgeous nephew Thomas choosing some flowers for his Mumma.  The way he touched the petals in a couple of the photos and then choosing a bunch to give to his Daddy to pay for is just adorable.  I hope I have done them justice.

This layout just brings a smile to my face 😄

To start my layout I work out approximately where i wanted to use the shimmer dust and then applied a layer of Heavy White Gesso to the white cardstock.  Once the gesso was drive I sprinkled a small amount of Duke Shimmer Dust to the cardstock and lightly sprayed with water.

Remember to apply shimmer dust lightly.  It is easier to continue to add more than apply too much to start and then not be able to bring it back.

Next I stamped a heap of flowers using an archival black ink using the flowers from the Floral Delights Stamp Sets No. 1 and No. 2.  I used the Colour Blast water colours in Scarlet however you can colour them with whatever medium you have.  Artist Inks from Colour Blast work equally as well. Once you have coloured them the way you want (I left some just white) fussy cut them out.

Once the Shimmer Dust has dried and you have it to the shade you like, using the Meridian Stamp Set stamp some circles to the cardstock. I added some splatters of red using the Scarlet watercolour pan.

I then mounted my photos on some chipboard offcuts and attached them to my page.

Next, using the Honeycomb metal die and the Flowers metal die, cut out a couple of flowers and one of the honeycomb.  Cut the honeycomb in a couple of pieces.

Arrange the fussy cut flowers and die cut flowers and honeycomb on to the page, layering them under the photos, mounting some on foam tape/dots and layering over the edges of the photos.
Next I stamped one of the bees and dragonflies on to the page from the Make me Happy stamp set, and the small sentiment from set as well.
To finish I coloured a chipboard title with my shimmer cubes, glued it to the page and added a gorgeous red Charms Creations heart.

Check out the finished page below and another close up.

"Dream Big.. Aim High" | Colour Blast by Bee Arty

Hi Everyone

Welcome back to the Bee Arty blog. Today I wanted to share with you a creation that I made using the AIM HIGH collection designed by Cindy Porter. I loved making this super girlie layout of my niece with my mum. The dies, stencils and stamps with this range are just amazing!!

I loved the Destination paper in the pack with the corner flowers on the book print.  I coloured some Texture Paste with some of the Walnut Artist Ink and then applied it through the Flower Pennants A5 stencil from the collection. I also did some stamping of some of the flowers in a dark brown ink using the Hydrangea Basket stamp set to the background patterned paper.

I coloured up some smooth cardstock using the Walnut Artist Ink and then used the cardstock to die cut the Flower Power metal dies.   These are one of my go to dies they are just so so pretty.

This collection is still available in the Bee Arty shop. It is such a great collection and works beautifully with male and female layouts. I have only used a small portion of the full collection so check the rest out in store.  Click on the image below to be taken there straight away.

I hope you enjoyed my share on the blog today.
Check back again for more of my shares soon.

Until next time....
Take some time out to create for yourself.

Ciao...

"Nothing Dims The Light" | Bee Arty

Hi Everyone,

For my share with you today I have used the Fearless, Brave and Free collection from BEE ARTY designed by the amazing Fiona Paltridge.  It is such a funky collection and just goes perfectly with the cheeky photo of my nephew Thomas.

Using some scraps I cut two sets of the "Abstract Circles" metal dies and then placed them on to the white cardstock in a pattern that I liked.

I didn't have a colour spray that I wanted to use on my layout so I improvised and poured some of my "Cider" Artist Ink in to a spray bottle.  I wanted the richness of the ink so I didn't water it down at all.  I then sprayed over the "Abstract Circles" die cuts that I placed on the cardstock.

Below is the affect that it created.

Once the background was dry I stamped with an archival black ink pad the "Fearless" and "Cool Words" stamps over the page. I then added some more background using the "Free Hand" A5 stencil.

Next I die cut the "Frame" in a navy cardstock.

Next cut out some of the triangles and diamond shaped pieces from the "Leap" cut and colour sheet.  I then used the "Cider" Artist Ink and a fine paint brush to colour in the pieces.

Behind the photo I used a piece of torn book paper, I layered the photo on some cardboard off-cuts and then laid the navy cardstock "Frame" die cut over the front of the photo on an angle.

I attached the photo to the page and then attached the fussy cut pieces to the page, cutting a couple in half to put behind the photo cluster and then mount others on cardboard or foam tape on to the page.

Add the chosen title, mine came from the "Within" patterned paper, deconstructing it.  Each word was mounted on some foam tape before gluing to the page.

To finish the page I added a Charms Creation embellishment and a flare button from my stash.

Below are some closeups of my finished page.

Harmony by Mintay Card Set

Hi Everyone

I love teaching card classes at my local Papercraft store and am known now for my love of fussy cutting.  Mintay Papers have the most beautiful papers to fussy cut and this range and I love creating this card set with the Harmony range of papers. This ended up being a very popular class and why wouldn't it be with such beautiful papers to work with.

I used both the 6x6 paper pad as well as a couple of 12x12 papers for these cards. The frame dies were Spellbinders and the gorgeous leave were from the Find Paradise range by BEE ARTY.

Here are a couple of close up of the 5 cards.

Thanks for stopping by.
Don't forget to keep the craft alive.

Happiness Is........ | Bee Arty

 Hi Everyone

Where has the time gone.  We are again half way through the month. I wanted to share with you a layout that I created using the Find Paradise range designed by Fiona Paltridge. To date these are still pretty much my favourite papers of all the collections available from Bee Arty.

The base for the layout was created using a white cardstock base, stamped with the Tropical Forest stamp and the Sunburnt Artist Ink and also a basic black ink pad from my stash.
From the Entangled patterned paper I cut 4 pieces the same size.  Mixing a little of the Sunburnt Artist Ink with some of the Heavy White Gesso I smooshed around the edges of the patterned paper and allowed to dry. I used one of the images from the Breathe patterned paper to mat my photo on.

I cut out a couple of the images from the Botanicals cut apart sheet and coloured them using a watercolour brush and the Sunburnt Artist Ink. I also added some fussy cut images from the cut apart sheet.

I added some matching twine around the back of one of the patterned papers and also mounted a couple of the pieces on foam tape to give the layout a little dimension. I finished with selecting some words from the Relax word sheet to match in with my photo and I also cut out the glass from the Breathe patterned paper.

This collection is just perfect for all your holiday and summertime photos.
Grab it while you can.  Everything about this collection is stunning.

Until next time.....
 Happy Creating.
