Hi Everyone, Anita back with you again today on the blog.
For my post today I thought I would share with you a fairly quick layout that I have created using the Bohemian Bouquet from Ultimate Crafts and designed by Denise Boddey.
It is such a beautiful collection and today my focus was more on the papers and layering.
This photo is of my brother and his gorgeous two children Sabine and
Thomas celebrating Father's Day this year.
My layout was pretty quick to put together. Once I had the idea of what I wanted to do in my head and had chose my patterned papers it came together within 1 hour.
I chose the green and white damask paper to use as the base for my layout and then chose patterned papers that I like the matched with each other.
The smaller pieces I decided to distress the edges using my Couture Creations non stick scissors as I find it easier to control. In saying that I do tend to get a little heavy handed and can sometimes tear the paper, but I love that and make the most of the tears to add another feature to the layout.
Above is how I layers all the papers together prior to adding my photo and the embellishments.
I matted my photo on a small piece of snow white cardstock to give a tiny white border and then added a cherry cola cardstock mat under then white, then mounted it all on to a piece
of chipboard to give more depth.
I added a chipboard title from the 1st release chipboard collection from
Couture Creations "Happy Memories" and hotfoiled it with the Chocolate foil.
I finished it off with an array of flower clusters and a few enamel dots and the layout was complete.
